200 credits total
Use them any time within 7 days
  • Everything in Free
  • Pass credits are used first, so your never-expiring signup credit is kept
  • Sign in required so credits stay on your account

Pro

$7.99$14.99/ month
Monthly subscription · cancel renewal anytime
1,000 credits per month
No rollover · no overage charges
  • Everything in Free
  • 1,000 credits each paid billing period
  • Paid credits are used before your signup credit
  • Keep current-period credits when you cancel renewal
Credits pay for search actions, not a number of results. Every plan searches the same public content Reddit still makes available — paying doesn’t unlock deleted posts, a historical archive, or deeper coverage.

What uses a credit

ActionCredits
A new search or list, or Load more — up to 25 results a page1
Opening one post or comment from a link1
Loading context or comments — the cost is shown before you click1
Expanding text you’ve loaded and filtering loaded results0
Empty results, errors, timeouts, cancelled searches, automatic retries0

A credit is used only when we deliver at least one record. Metadata-only records count as delivered.

How the pass works

Starts on payment
Runs for 7 × 24 hours from the moment payment is confirmed.
Buy again when needed
Each purchase adds 200 credits valid for its own 7 days. Existing credits keep their original expiry.
After it ends
Unused pass credits expire. Any signup credit you haven’t used stays on your account.

Research projects, saved filters and reference exports are not included in either package.

How Pro works

Pro renews at $7.99 each month until you cancel renewal in Billing. Each successful payment adds 1,000 credits for that billing period; unused credits expire at its end and do not roll over. There are no automatic top-ups or overage charges. Canceling renewal keeps your current-period credits available until the displayed end date.

Pricing questions

What do I get for free?

Get 1 free credit when you sign up. Never expires. There is no daily refresh and searching needs an account. If you buy a Research Pass or Pro, its credits are used first and your signup credit is kept.

What uses a query credit?

A new result page or an additional standard detail request uses one credit when useful data is delivered. Expanding loaded text, local filtering, errors, empty results, and automatic retries do not use extra credits. Context actions show their credit cost before running.

Can paying help me find deleted posts?

No. Free and paid plans search the same public content. A paid plan adds more searches; it does not unlock deleted posts, a historical archive, or deeper coverage.

Will I be charged again?

Research Pass is a one-time payment and does not renew. You can buy it again; each purchase adds 200 credits valid for its own seven days without resetting your existing credits. Pro renews at $7.99 each month until you cancel renewal from Billing. You keep paid-period credits until the period ends; unused credits do not roll over.

What’s your refund policy?

If a purchase could not be delivered — for example credits did not arrive or the service was unavailable — email support@redditarchive.org and we will refund it. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
